Making A Killing 1 by Sarah Anne Graham

Size: 24"x24"x18"

Medium: Watercolor

By Sarah Anne Graham

This piece is the first in a series about pharmaceuticals, specifically pain medications and their role in our culture, society and wild environments. This piece weaves together parts of our various natural habitats with that of pain medications - in pill form. I've also added a white paper crane as a symbol of death in the image and spelled out Sackler in the piece, alluding to the role this family has played in the opioid epidemic.
